Any learning tasks sent home by classroom teachers will link directly to your child's school learning programme and their current learning needs. You are welcome to talk to your child's classroom teacher about how you can support learning at home. Remember that learning takes many forms and almost all of the things they do at home are valuable experiences for your children. To support Learning at Home during isolation periods or when school cannot physically open, resources will be uploaded to the classroom links below. |
Online Safety
It is important that the online safety of our children is closely monitored. To support parents with doing this at home, please check out Netsafe's 7 Steps for Whānau.
We also recommend using Network 4 Learning's Switch on Safety filter which was launched during New Zealand's first Level 4 Lockdown.
For support accessing Zoom for class meetings, please follow these instructions.
We have adopted some guidelines for children for when using Zoom. Please have a look at these here. Teachers will discuss these with their class during the first Zoom meeting.
